Cardboard manufacturing has many benefits that serve individuals, businesses, and factories. Humans have created cardboard to meet their need for protecting their possessions. Humans must also contribute to the sustainability of this industry and maintain a clean, healthy, and pure environment. Recycling is the best thing we can do for this.
Recycling is a vital and humanitarian process. Through it, we all obtain a clean environmental system, ensure the sustainability and continuity of our resources in the future, preserve their value, and create job opportunities for many!
If we want to understand it, we will say that it is a process of reclaiming old materials and transforming them through stages into a valuable substance again. The first stages are:
Collection:
In this stage, cardboard waste is collected after use from various places, such as commercial outlets, scrapyards, warehouses, and waste, and then usually transported to cardboard and paper factories for recycling.
Sorting:
In this stage, the cardboard is sorted based on its type, and this stage requires effort because paper and cardboard factories produce different grades of materials.
Shredding:
In this stage, the paper and cardboard fibers are shredded into small pieces and mixed with water and special chemicals.
After the three processes, the ink and adhering materials such as impurities, tapes, and glue are removed by filtering, then they are mixed, dried on hot cylindrical surfaces, passed through a machine to remove excess water and moisture, then glued to make new paper sheets, and then transported to the cardboard manufacturing location.
Recycling contributes to reducing waste and promotes a clean and healthy environment.
At Gulf Carton Factory, we support recycling and promote the concept among all our employees and through our products, as we manufacture high-quality products for the community that are recyclable after use.
